Sales and Marketing Specialist

My Client located in London, ON is growing an looking to hire a Sales & Marketing Specialist.  This person will be involved in various sales and marketing projects and will report to the VP of Business Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the designing, delivery and measuring of marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of company services.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of relevant content to engage target market
  • Create and communicate brand messages (internally/externally) and improve brand awareness through designated marketing channels. Acting brand ambassador
  • Provide market research and insights to identify how best to reach and support their target market
  • Update and deliver content on the Company’s  website, blogs and social media platforms
  • Create, proof-read and test email campaigns
  • Lead the coordination of domestic events (e.g. Webinars, Roundtables, Workshops)
  • Lead the digital marketing efforts over social media, media buying, public relations and other corporate communications as assigned
  • Assist in the drafting of marketing and sales email promotions and campaigns
  • Update and maintain current list of contacts and activities within designated Content Management System (CMS) platform
  • Manage and update all sales collateral as needed (e.g. proposals, presentations, web brochures)
  • Assist the sales team with the design and proper formatting of client proposals as needed
  • Collaborate with VP BD to set up tracking and reporting system to measure marketing campaigns/programs
  • Assist in creating quarterly and annual marketing campaigns
  • Tracking and performance reporting on Company’s 3rd party vendors (e.g. SEO, Branding)
  • Other applicable duties as assigned by Manager
  • Monitor and track KPIs

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Marketing, Communications or similar field
  • 1-2 years applicable experience in Sales and Marketing
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient within Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
  • General knowledge of SEO concepts, Good Analytics, and email marketing system
  • Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management and CMS software
  • Outstanding attention to detail with superior time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with employees within departments and across functions
  • Ability to convey information clearly and analyze customer requirements as needed
  • Passion for testing, measuring and improving marketing campaign effectiveness
  • Knowledge of MRO, Supply Chain, Procurement and Manufacturing is an asset
